Patton Middle School PTO invites everyone including 5th grade parents to come to the Patton PTO presentation from John Sanville about Key Measures of Success. There will also be a presentation from Principal Tim Hoffman. He will be speaking about the middle school and answering any additional questions you may have. We hope to see you in the small cafeteria at Patton Wednesday morning May 10th.

IT'S TIME FOR RAFFLE BASKETS!!!
This year the Patton Carnival is Friday, May 5. The Carnival is the PTO's main fundraiser each year. The Basket Raffle is a mainstay, one of the true favorites at the carnival! Last year the basket raffle helped to raise over $9,500 for use in events at Patton, Enrichment Projects, teacher subsidies and much more.
Each 6th and 7th grade Prime Time selects a theme for their basket. Students then donate a NEW item or monetary contribution to fill their Basket. Most 8th grade Prime Times collect money and then purchase large items such as ipads, TV's, Laptops, Trips, etc. Click here to find out what your child's advisory theme is.

PURCHASE BOOKS FOR WRITERS DAY
MONDAY MAY 1ST
Patton Middle School is thrilled to announce that we will have published authors visiting our school on Monday, May 1st, Writer's Day, to speak to our students. In order to expose our students to the authors' works, we are providing the opportunity to have students purchase books written by the presenting authors. Book summaries and recommended grade audiences for each of the books may be found at http://cfpms.ucfsd.org/library.html. Please note that Patton is not making a profit from book sales. All books are being offered at our cost plus tax (as required by PA state law).
Patton Planner Cover Contest
The Patton Planner Cover Contest starts on April 25th and ends on May 9th.
The contest is open to all 6th and 7th grade students.
Use the 2016-2017 planner as a guide.
Submit your original designs to Mrs. Ferron or Mrs. Schultz
Winners will be chosen by the art teachers and team leaders and announced closer to the end of school.
There will be three pieces of artwork chosen, a Planner front cover, Planner back cover and Patton Hawks Postcard.
You may enter more than once!

Please be aware that the last day for the After School Activities Bus and After School Library Hours at Patton Middle School will be Thursday, May 25th. Please plan accordingly.
Annual UCFEF Community Yard Sale Fundraiser
We need volunteer help and household donations.
Please share our needs with your neighbors.
Please donate used outdoor equipment, electronics, antiques, furniture, decorative items and household items.
The UCFEF annual yard sale benefits ALL UCFSD schools districtwide in classroom, program, and activity grants, and also provides 2 scholarships for graduating seniors.

UHS SOCCER CAMP
OPEN TO ALL UHS AND PATTON PLAYERS
The UHS Women's Soccer Booster club is hosting the 2nd annual summer soccer camp to help promote a unified Unionville women's soccer program and fundraiser. The camp will encompass conditioning, technical skill building, and team building events (lots of good food). Please RSVP as there is a $25 discount if registered by May 19th. UNITE FOR HER GAME
Come out and support the Varsity boys' lacrosse team as they take on cross-town rival Kennett HS on Thursday, May 4 th . Game time is approximately 7:30pm. It will also be our "pink" game to benefit Unite for HER, so be sure to wear your pink and bring money for raffle tickets! It's URA Night, our URA U9s will play a half-time game, and it's also Senior Night! Hope to see you there!

Southern Chester County Soccer Camp
This year the Southern Chester County Soccer Camp directed by Unionville Boys Soccer Coach Rich Garber will be held from July 31st thru August 4th at the Unionville/Patton Middle School Campus. KU Titans Football and Cheerleading
LET'S GET FIRED UP! Register now for the 2017 KU Titans Football and Cheerleading season and take advantage of our Early Bird Discount. All participants registered between May 1st-31st will receive a $15 registration discount per child. Learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading in an environment supporting good sportsmanship and teamwork. Programs are available for ages 7-14 and Flag Football programs are available for 4-7 year olds. The Kennett-Unionville Titans serve the youth of Kennett Consolidated and Unionville-Chadds Ford School Districts. Practice begins August 7th so don't delay.
