Please join us for our next PTO meeting on Thursday November 3rd at 9:15 am in the small cafeteria. This meeting will feature speaker Ken Batchelor. He will give a district update and will be answering questions about the recent topic of School Start Times. We will also be voting on enrichment projects!

The 6th Grade Mixer chairs, Lisa Albany, Carolyn Rawlins, Sheri Maufort, Robin Jenkins, LIbby Deming, also, Mr Hoffman, Mrs. Layton. It was great to see so many kids showing their "Patton Pride"!
The Picture Day Chairs Jing Han, and Lynda Nadin.  The day went smooth due to great teamwork!
The Bike Drive Chair Stuart Lindsay.  Thank you for having TWO collection days and refurbishing 150+ bikes for kids in need this holiday season!
All the parent volunteers who came in and/or donated items to make these events possible and all the custodial staff who helped make things run smoothly.
The CFPMS PTO would like to extend a heartfelt thank you and our sincerest gratitude to our many compassionate volunteers. We appreciate your time and efforts. You kindness made these events possible and successful!

  • PARENT VISITATION DAY

We are in need of parent volunteers for the Parent Refreshment Area during Visitation Day for Patton Middle School on Wednesday Oct 26th. Please look over your student's schedule and see if there is a period you are free such as before class starts, gym, or lunch and stop in to help out. The Patton Book Fair is coming and we need volunteers!  The fair will run from October 19 - 26th.  It is a great opportunity to get involved at the middle school.  Please use the sign-up genius link below to sign up for a shift!

The parent portal directory has now been added to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. To access this directory please follow the instructions below.

  1. Access the PowerSchool parent portal by going to https://sam.ucfsd.org/public. Once you open the login page please enter your username and password.



        2. After you successfully login to the parent portal click on "School Bulletin" on the left hand side navigation.




 3. Next, the school bulletin will open, to view the Parent Directory click on the blue link called "PTO Directory 2016 - 2017 Link". This will open a PDF of the PTO directory for you to view on your device.

HELP SCHOOL ENRICHMENT

The Charles F. Patton Middle School PTO is a proactive organization providing educational enrichment to the students of C.F. Patton Middle School. To be successful,
the PTO activities and programs need your support! In the past, the PTO has given financial support to the teachers and funded special projects such as Writer's Day, Curriculum enrichment funds, supplement base materials provided by the District and enhance our kids' learning experience. HURRY COLLECT BOX TOPS

FIRST COLLECTION DATE 10/28

It's time for the 2016/17 Box Tops Collection Challenge to begin. Prizes will be awarded to the advisory class in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade that submits the most Box Tops. The advisory that submits the most Box Tops overall will earn...well, more details about that later! So, take all those Box Tops you collected over the summer, put them in an envelope or plastic baggie, mark your student's advisory teacher's name on the envelope/plastic bag with the Box Tops, and deliver them to the main office! The deadline for the first collection is October 28. If possible, separate Box Tops into multiples of 50. Please submit Box Tops with expiration dates after NOVEMBER 2016 ONLY. Box Tops with earlier expiration dates cannot be counted toward your student's advisory class total. The person who counts the Box Tops thanks you in advance for following the above instructions!

Our goal is to reach 500 registered cards. We are currently at 194. Register your card online and help our school while you do your regular shopping. This program does not change your gas points or other Giant reward offers in any way. GIVING TREE


The Giving Tree Gift collection is to benefit the Kennett Community Services. The Middle School will participate in the project from November 28 - December 15th and the donations will be delivered to The Kennett Community Services December 15th.

UHS Boys Basketball Skills and Drills Clinic

There will be a drills and skills clinic at Unionville High School on December 3, 2016 from 2:30 to 6:15 PM in the main gym for any boys in grades 2-8. For registration and further details please click the attached form.



Girls Basketball Clinic

UHS XC team

Middle School Parents:  The UHS XC Team is joining with Kennett XC to host a "Friends Not Foes 5K" on November 13 in Anson B Nixon park.  Proceeds from the race go directly back into the Unionville HS XC and Track program for additional coaching and equipment that benefit our running program and your student athletes!  Please consider registering your student or your whole family and spend a fall morning supporting the Unionville High School XC Team.  You can register directly at this site: https://runsignup.com/Race/Events/PA/KennettSquare/FriendsNotFoes5k.


Unionville- Parent Resources and Information for Special Education

A place for parents/guardians of students with special needs to share ideas and information, discuss programs, network with other parents and community resources, collaborate with administrators, ask questions, seek advice, and learn more about special education processes.

Guest Speaker Series: District Technology Dave Listman- Communications/Stakeholder Integration Lisa Dorazio- Database Administrator Dave Cattell, M. Ed., ATP- CCIU Assistive Technology Consultant.
This speaker series will focus on our district's technology with UCF specialists showing parents how to navigate Power School Special Education, Canvas, Google, and the UCFSD Website. Additionally, Dave Cattell with speak about the continuum of assistive technology tools and devices.
