Please join us for our final General PTO meeting of the 2015-16 school year on Thursday, May 5th @ 9:15 AM as we welcome rising 5th grade parents for an informal Q and A with veteran Patton parents.  We would love to have you share your insight with new middle school parents. Please spread the word! Door Prizes will be awarded to a few lucky meeting attendees!

VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES UPDATE

There are some upcoming changes to Volunteer Clearances requirements. There is now an online resource on all school websites (listed under either the "Quick Links" or "Parent Resources" tabs) called "Clearances (Volunteers)".  On that web page are simplified instructions on who needs clearances and how to get them.

Some FAQs about Volunteer Clearances:

Q: When do the new rules go into effect?

A: July 1st, 2016

Q: Do I need fingerprinting?

A: Only if you have lived in PA less than 10 consecutive years

Q: How long are clearance good for?

A: Five years.

PARENTS ATHLETIC MEETING

Date: May 9, 2016

Time: 6:00 PM

Location: Patton Library

Parents of current 6th and 7th grade students who are interested in learning more about athletics at Patton are encouraged to attend the upcoming meeting. Many topics will be discussed, including eligibility, programs offered, and necessary paperwork for the 2016-2017 school year.

UCF Community Scholarship Fund needs your help!


For over 50 years, the Unionville Chadds Ford Community Scholarship Fund has provided scholarship aid to outstanding graduating seniors at Unionville High School.

The Fund is joint project between all the UCF PTOs as well as the UHS guidance counselors, principal and UCF administration.

Each year, we try to award 7-10 scholarships valued between $700-$1000.

The amount we are able to award varies based on donations received.


We have started our donation campaign and hope that you will consider making a donation.

NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL!  To underscore that,  If every family in the district donated $1, we would be able to award 3 scholarships.

We really mean it when we say no donation is too small.

You can have your student drop off the donation to the High School Office in an envelope marked UCF Community Scholarship.

You can send in a dollar, change or if you would like, a check made payable to UCF Community Scholarship Fund.

Spring-cleaning or organizing, donate what you de-clutter to the UCFEF yard sale

Donate your gently used outdoor equipment, electronics, furniture, decorative items and household goods to UCFEF annual yard sale.

Please drop off donations at Unionville Elementary on Friday April 29th, Wednesday May 4th, or Friday May 6th, from 3:30-6:00 pm.

Furniture is welcome and pick can be arranged at unionvilleyardsale@gmail.com  

We cannot receive clothing donations.

All donations are tax deductible.

FOCUS' mission is to promote health choices and behaviors for youth in our community. We provide education to parents, students, and the community through parent seminars and workshops, student assemblies, and educational material. Some of this year's programs include:

  • Conscious Parenting- presented by Sue DeCaro and Erin Taylor,

  •  Minding your Mind- a discussion  about anxiety,stress,and mental health awarenessfor students and parents..

Next year the FOCUS committee will be "focusing" on topics related to resilience, positive attitude and grit. We would love anyone interested to come and be a part of FOCUS!  Our last meeting of the year is May 19th at 7:30pm in the Library at CFPMS.

This program does not change your gas points or other Giant reward offers in any way.
