Box Tops Challenge Nearly Halfway to 2015-16 Goal!

Patton Middle School families submitted 2,241 Box Tops by the October deadline, earning $224.10. Added to the $352.90 worth of Box Tops submitted over the summer, we are nearly halfway toward the $1200 goal for this academic year! Just as someone reading a mystery novel doesn't want to know "who did it" until near the end of the book, the Box Tops counting team wants to keep you all in suspense about the leading advisories for each grade...until the beginning of 2016! So, here are the Box Tops totals by grade:
...for 8th Grade, five advisories submitted 301 Box Tops; 6th Grade, seven advisories contributed 577;
and for the leaders as of the end of October, 7th Grade, seven advisories accounted for 776 Box Tops!
The next Box Tops deadline is December 23, the day before winter break.
Please remember to write the advisory teacher's name on the collection sheets, bag or envelope and try to separate the Box Tops in to groups of 50.
Please also submit Box Tops with an expiration date of DECEMBER 30, 2015 or later. Any Box Tops with an expiration date before December 30, 2015 cannot be submitted.
The person counting the Box Tops thanks you!

Keeping Our Schools Safe

We will be holding a Community Conversation on school safety on November 11 at 6:00 pm in the UHS cafeteria.  In 2013, responding to the lessons learned from Sandy Hook, our community came together for our last Community Conversation on safety.  A 27 point plan was adopted and implemented.  Recent events (weapons found on campus) and the District's response to them, have generated a lot of conversation throughout the community.  Its time to come together again, to review where we are and what else needs to be addressed as we remain ever vigilant about the safety of our children.

RSVP to Kim Van der Mooren

Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

UCF Education Foundation would like you to please designate UCFEF in the United Way Campaign.

Charitable Giving Campaigns are starting at many local companies and at the United Way of Southern Chester County. Please consider donating specifically to the Unionville-Chadds Ford Education Foundation. You can designate UCFEF as the recipient of your funds by using our tax ID: 23-2806707.  We directly support projects and programs in all six schools.  Since some companies match employee donations given through workplace campaigns, it's a means to increase the funding to our schools.
