It's time for the 2015 Box Tops Collection Challenge to begin. Prizes will be awarded to the advisory class in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade

that submits the most Box Tops. The advisory that submits the most Box Tops overall will earn prize! So, take all those Box Tops you

collected over the summer, put them in an envelope or plastic baggie, mark your student's advisory teacher's name on the envelope/plastic bag

with the Box Tops, and deliver them to the main office! The deadline for the first collection is October 26.

If possible, separate Box Tops into multiples of 50. Please submit Box Tops with expiration dates after NOVEMBER 2015 ONLY.

Box Tops with earlier expiration dates cannot be counted toward your student's advisory class total.

The person who counts the Box Tops thanks you in advance for following the above instructions!

PINK Week: October 22 - October 28

Since 2009, Unite for HER has worked to bridge the gap between the medical and wellness communities by educating women diagnosed with breast cancer about complementary therapies, providing them with a compassionate resource for support, knowledge and healing.

During Pink Week, a Unite for HER representative will be at the following home athletic events to help raise awareness and funds:

October 22: Cross Country

October 26: Field Hockey and Girls Soccer

October 27: Volleyball

October 28: Football and Boys Soccer

Starting October 13, students will be able to purchase the shirt below during advisory and lunch periods in the library.

Shirts cost $15, and all proceeds go to Unite for Her.

Parents or guardians may call the office at 610/347-2000 BEFORE 9:00 AM to request homework if a student has been absent for two or more consecutive days.

We ask that you speak directly with a member of the office staff when making this type of request.

Please do not leave requests for class and/or homework assignments on staff members' voice mail systems or staff members' e-mail.

School personnel will retrieve needed books and materials from lockers.

Parents are asked to collect all materials in the office to insure that all assignments reach the student.

The materials will be available on the counter located in the main office from 2:30 to 3:00 the day the request is received.

UCF Education Foundation would like you to please designate UCFEF in the United Way Campaign.

Charitable Giving Campaigns are starting at many local companies and at the United Way of Southern Chester County. Please consider donating specifically to the Unionville-Chadds Ford Education Foundation. You can designate UCFEF as the recipient of your funds by using our tax ID: 23-2806707.  We directly support projects and programs in all six schools.  Since some companies match employee donations given through workplace campaigns, it's a means to increase the funding to our schools.
