Special release

Dear Patton Families;
Happy Fall! It is hard to believe school has been in session for almost two months! We hope everyone is settling into the middle school routine and enjoying their experience at Patton.  September was a busy month, with Curriculum Night, School Photos and the Sixth Grade Mixer. Thanks to all our Mixer volunteers, especially Cynthia Minsk and Julie French, who co-chaired this event.
Parent Visitation Day is coming up this Wed., Oct. 22nd. It is a great way to experience a day in the life of a middle schooler, and see firsthand what is going on at Patton. Despite what you may be hearing from your kids, parents do attend this event, even 7th and 8th grade parents! Please stop by for respite in the library. Check out the Book Fair in the library while you enjoy coffee and refreshments in the respite area as well.
Our Booster Drive is underway. Donating to the Booster Drive a great way to support programs that enrich our kids' educational experiences at Patton. Please consider making a tax deductible donation or consider CFPMS PTO in your year end giving plans. Through PTO fundraising efforts  last year, we were able to support some terrific programs at Patton. If you wish to donate, please click on the link to download a Booster Form
We have made a change to our PTO meeting schedule for this school year. Our meetings will now be held the first Thursday of the month at 9:15AM. Our next meeting is ThursdayNov. 6th.  John Nolen, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, will be presenting on the Math Curriculum at Patton. Please join us! If you have any ideas for a future speaker for our PTO meetings, we would love to hear from you.
School pictures will be coming home this Tuesday or Wednesday. Please look for them in your child's backpack because picture retake day is thisFriday, October 24th!
This Friday is also the last day to submit your Giant bonus card number for a chance to win a Spooktacular Breakfast for your child's Advisory on Halloween! The Giant A+ Program is an easy way to earn money for Patton while you do your weekly grocery shopping. Please email your Giant bonus card number, phone number, and your child's Advisory to Even if you may have registered last year, please send us your info again to get credit for your Advisory and we'll make sure your number is in the system.
Please let us know if you need anything or are interested in getting involved at Patton PTO. We are happy to help! Have an enjoyable and safe Halloween!
Lisa and Luci
