This is the time of year that your can make your vote count with the funds the PTO has to allocate to projects this year.  We need your vote and input to put these programs into place!

Saddle Up and Read at the Patton Wild West Book Fair!

 

Gallop on over and explore this exciting collection of fun, engaging, and affordable books! There will be new and favorite authors, popular series, adventure, sci-fi, mystery, reference books and much more.

After School Yoga -   Join us Thursday afternoons right after school in Room 112 until 3:45.   First class is Thursday, Nov. 2nd.   End your school day with some exercise, games, stretches and relaxation.   Sign up for a 6 week session by contacting Registered Yoga Instructor, Kelli Dougherty at kellirich@comcast.net

Directories were placed in advisory teacher mailboxes on 10/19/17. If you ordered a directory and your child has not been given his/her directory by Wednesday, October 25th, please contact Kathleen Vasko at krsv@hotmail.com.

 

DID NOT ORDER A DIRECTORY? If you did not order a directory, you can access online through PowerSchool.  Go to “School Bulletin” on left side. PTO Directory will be listed. May work better from desk/laptop than cell phone.

Interested in Boy Scouts?  No previous scouting experience necessary.  Any youth can join Boy Scouts at age 11.
We invite you to these BS Troop 22 special events:
Friday, October 27th @ 5:30 -7:30 pm - Bonfire Adventure.  Meet our scouts, families, and leaders while enjoying a bonfire, hotdogs, and marshmallows in the beautiful fields of the Arbaugh family, on Red Lion Road, Kennett Square. 
Mondays, November 6th and/or November 20th @7:00 – 8:30 pm - Attend our Troop Meetings.  Youths participate in scout educational and entertaining activities and parents attend an informational meeting.  If these dates don’t fit your schedule, please contact me and we can arrange another date to attend the Troop Meeting.
December 1st – 3rd - Camp Horseshoe.  This weekend is designed around skills training, fun activities, and shooting activities.

BIKE DRIVE

Volunteer to help clean up 10/21

The Unionville Community Bike Drive needs your Gently Used bikes!!  Volunteers collect and refurbish both children’s and adult bicycles each year. The bicycles are given to families in need from the community during the holiday season.  

 

 

Now we need volunteers to repair, clean and organize bikes on our clean-up day Saturday October 21st at the Middle School.  Please email Stuart Lindsay at slindsay8@comcast.net if you are interested in the clean-up day or if you have a bike that you can’t drop off at one of the dates above.

UCFSD Annual Coat Drive

 

 

Switching clothes over for the fall/winter season?

 

Please consider donating clean coats, hoodies, hats, mittens/gloves, snow pants and boots to the Annual UCFSD Coat Drive. All sizes & styles, infant through adult are needed – please spread the word.

 

Donated items can be dropped off in the lobbies of any UCF district school starting on October 23rd and ending on December 7th. Items should be clean and in good condition. New items and monetary donations are also gladly accepted.

 

Collected items will be distributed in December to over 500 families in need in our area.

We want your kids to have a "gourd" time at The Great Pumpkin Carve 2017! We are offering two ways your child can participate in the event:

The first is by helping carve a pumpkin (provided by you) and bringing it to the event to be put on display along the pathway leading up to the Pumpkin Patch. PUMPKIN DROP-OFF IS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 18 FROM 3 TO 6PM.

The second way is by participating in our Scarecrow Competition! We’re seeking creatively crafted scarecrows to line the path leading into the event and bring a fall feel to the Barn. Scarecrows are brought completed and ready to be on display. Individuals, families and groups are all encouraged to apply! There is an application fee of $10. Sign up here:
